Doug here. You may not recall but when Diamond and Kevin’s blog post was put up it was starting to get hot. If you missed it check it out here. With an August Wedding date you get excited about leaving Las Vegas and going to the Mt. Charleston Lodge to beat the heat. Little did we know waking up that morning that it would be pouring rain. Getting a little wet never scared me but I always know it’s a stressful for my couples. Luckily these two were able to relax and trust me. We did getting ready pictures at a house they rented then headed up the mountain. Right when we were at the base of the mountain the rain stopped. I wasn’t sure how long it would last so I pulled over and told them we were doing the first look right there. The smiles and joy at that point were priceless with them finally getting to see each other. From that point on we only had a few more sprinkles the rest of the day. We did end up with a few shivers and chills. Mother Nature may try to spoil some days but a positive attitude and a little luck can change that right around! Diamond and Kevin I’m so happy for you two and I’m excited for the new adventures life is throwing at you. Keep the love and stay strong together! Enjoy your beautiful wedding pictures!
