Yesenia + Jay are Married

Doug and Jay are old Marine Corps buddies. It was an honor to have him call us and see if we would be able to photograph him and the love of his life Yesenia. It was a pleasure to meet with her and reconnect with Jay on a video chat. We came up with a plan to make two trips up to Reno one for the engagements, one for the wedding. For the engagements we had a blast but ended up playing in some rain. With the horrible drought that the Reno Tahoe area we couldn’t believe that it was pouring again as soon as we got back into town. Luckily we had a little break in the weather to the first look and ceremony in. Then the rain started coming again. Everyone that was at the wedding was amazing and we owned pictures out in the rain. Because Jay and Doug have known each other for so long we decided to bring our girls with us and we handed them cameras to capture the wedding too. They are little artists in the making. I wish someone would have handed me a camera at that age. Yesenia and Jay I can’t say it enough about how amazing you two are to embrace the moment and just show your love for each other no matter what mother nature was throwing at us.
